Hearty Welcome to Govt Industrial Training Institute, KOPPA

Govt. ITI, Koppa established in the year 2008 with an intention of imparting the skill to the youths of the Koppa taluk to make them employable by catering the training in ELECTRICIAN, ELECTRONICS NECHANIC and MECHANIC (MOTOR VEHICLE) trades.

Since September-2012, Mid-day meals started in the ITI with the help of Sri Sharada Math, Sringeri to make the trainees to be strong enough to get the more practical training. Since then, trainees from various parts of Karnataka (other than Chikkamagaluru Dist.) are seeking admission to this ITI. Now this ITI is recognized under UDYOGA Project with the collaboration of Govt. of Karnataka & TATA Tech. Ltd. with the strong infrastructure and new technology adopted for providing the training in various new long term trades along with the CTS existing trades to fulfill the industrial requirement w.r.t. present Industrial scenario in the country.

Most of the trainees of this ITI are placed in various industries, most of them are self employed and some of them are undergone higher education. Hence our focus is on adopting the new technology in teaching-learning process to give quality training and make the trainees to be more versatile to get the Jobs either in Pvt. Industries, Govt. & Public Sectors or Self- employed or Entrepreneur as their choice and make them an asset for the country.
